Digital Designer :: About Me

I was born and raised in Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala which is the southern most state of India. Mother Nature has showered her blessings lavishly in this state which is abundant in coconut palms, rice fields, pristine rivers, lagoons, beaches and backwaters, to name a few! The name Kerala means "Land of Coconuts" and is derived from the word "Keram" meaning coconut in the native language Malayalam.

I completed high school education in Trivandrum. After receiving Bachelor's degree in Agriculture from College of Agriculture, Vellayani, Trivandrum, I took the first small step into the world of computers. I received a Honors Diploma in Information and Systems Management from APTECH, Trivandrum. After coming to USA, I joined for Masters' program in the Dept. of Computer Graphics Technology at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana and received my Masters' degree in Applied Computer Graphics.

Besides learning new technologies, my other passions include reading, writing poems and stamp collection. I have training in Indian Classical (Carnatic) music for about a decade and the stringed musical instrument, Veena for a couple of years.
